Saw Don 2 today morning at a Terrific theater atmosphere........even after reserving the tickets,we had a tough time entering the theater........

Now coming to the movie,Don 2 is a fast paced thriller that lies entirely on SRK and Farhan, what makes it a watchable thriller is SRK's energetic performance,Looks and Charisma and Farhan's direction.

Movie doesn't have much Story to offer. It starts off from where the first part ends......Don returns to Malaysia where he eventually surrenders to Interpol officers Roma and Malik. From there he goes to the jail to see his arch enemy Vardhan(villain in the 1st part)where he has set new plans for a robbery and then the film deals with the execution of the robbery and of course there are some twists and turns here and there....

Shahrukh as the villainous hero Don is the main highlight of the film.He portrays the role with ease. His looks and action scenes were top notch. His entry look was simply superb.I really liked the way he delivers the good one liners. The film entirely lies on his shoulders.Cant imagine any other person to do this role.(maybe AB.....he did it in 1978,But now there is no chance for him too)

Priyanka Chopra did her job very well....looked good in the movie.....but a bit boring in the 2nd half....didn't have much role when compared to the 1st part.Final song sequence was not needed though Boman Irani as Vardhan did what he was told too....not too outstanding and not too bad...... Kunal kapoor,Lara dutta and the Others did what was demanded.....not much to do though.......Hritik Roshan's Cameo was not very needed but it doesn't cause any harm to the film also....Like I said earlier,Its an SRK film and its SRK all the way overshadowing all the other others with his performance

Farhan Akthar who is known for trend setters like Dil chahta hai ,Lakshya returns to direction after 5 years with Don 2......He lives up to the expectations to a certain extent,His writing deserves a special mention.I loved the dialogues. But on the Whole,The movie could have been better.screenplay should have been more tight and romance of Don with Roma could have been removed from the film.......

The main drawback of the film is the lack of thrilling moments we expect from a thriller.Apart from a chase sequence in the first half,Ther are not many scenes to thrill. In the 2nd half, plot becomes predictable........and twists became very weak......we feel that we have seen it all somewhere....and that is where the movie fails.....

Music is also another drawback....yet i liked the track Zara dil ko tham lo from the movie....which i didn't like earlier.......Background score is awesome though.....

Well I would rate Don 2 as a watchable fare which could have been better.....SRK fans might love it......and In the box office,Don 2 is sure to set he cash registers ringing........Farhan should focus more on the story and screenplay if he plans for a DON 3........

A Nutshell Review: Jab Tak Hai Jaan

We see Major Samar Anand (Shah Rukh Khan) being the shining star of the Indian Army's bomb disposal unit, clocking almost close to a hundred IED diffusion and doing so in daredevil fashion. Some call him the man without fear, while others coin the term the man who cannot die, because his job is high risk, but he doesn't take the necessary precautions. The routine involves going off for a little quiet time for himself after having stared death in the face, but this time round got rudely interrupted by the vivacious Akira Rai (Anushka Sharma), who is adamant to get a stint with Discovery Channel, and chanced upon Samar's diary of sorts which got left behind.

And this natural flashback provided a look into the Major's past before his army career, being a multiple job holder in London in order to make ends meet, from shoveling of snow to the waiting on tables, to being a fishmonger, and busking in the streets. Fate allows him to meet poor little rich girl Meera (Katrina Kaif), and before you know it, their constant interaction to exchange tips in the learning of languages form the basis of their relationship, even though Meera is engaged to a rich scion. I suppose no girl can resist the charms of a man who can serenade at multiple London landmarks, and dance the way SRK does.

But here's the catch which I thought was an extremely bold move. Religion comes into play, and this takes on proportions and depth of discussions about how some put religion as priority, having empowerment over their lives, that it could sometimes lead to paralysis of sorts. To save Samar's life, Meera makes a pact with her spiritual father, and I suppose only a bet as big as exchanging one's happiness with the life of another, can bring that prayerful wish to fruition. But this causes bitterness in Samar because how can one do battle with Jesus? It's almost impossible, but if this rivalry of one's heart, toward man and toward god, isn't colossus, then I don't know what is.

I suppose what Yash Chopra's story was trying to say, is that without love, or keeping the faith, one's life can get really inward and withdrawn, losing that fun element with all things going really serious, and at times, reckless. Samar goes back to India and fulfills his family lineage of military men, but chooses the riskiest of professions, if only to tempt the higher being at taking his life away, and in such fashion to put a dent in his ex lover's faith. Akira enters the picture, and finds this old fashion love of the previous decade a lot more meaningful than the present throwaway ones that centers around physical love. The second half after the intermission sees the relentless pursuit Akira has for Samar, only for her constant advances to be continuously rejected, because in essence, Samar's heart was locked in on another, and left for dead.

As if that wasn't enough - with how Samar has turned into a Meera even without his knowledge, in shutting people out - Yash Chopra has more up his sleeves when he has to put everyone together, forming tremendous tension especially when throwing in one of the oldest plot elements in the book for a romance, albeit too with one too many hospital stays. It's decision time, and you'll find yourself taking sides as to who Samar should eventually end up with, after having emotionally invested an hour with each heroine. Characterization here is top notch in making everyone of them rich and real, that you'll probably see shades of yourself, or people you may know, in one or more of the leading protagonists.

Shah Rukh Khan once again shows why he's one of the leading men in Bollywood, with his fine all round performance in being a younger man who is full of zeal, hope and life, with the world ahead of him given his hard work, and yet balancing that out with a more sullen, serious look as the hardened military man with a death wish, nursing a broken heart and resigned to the impossibility of challenging god. Between the two leading ladies, it is difficult to pick who actually had an edge over the other, but if it's a personal choice, I'd give my vote to Anushka Sharma if only for her assured portrayal of a bubbly personality who knows what she wants and is a go getter, being in for a challenge when encountered with emotions she has yet to handle, compared to the more indecisive character that Katrina perfectly portrayed, in what would be a classic Yash Chopra model of the unattainable femme fatale responsible for the total breaking of hearts.

Cinematography is great, as you would come to expect from a Yash Raj production, with lush costumes, glossy production and art design, sets and locales being nothing but the best to put you in the mood for love, and love lost or broken. Music by none other than A.R. Rahman also lifts the film into epic greatness, befitting a contemporary love story of our time. If anything, Yash Chopra's parting gift through his films, and this one in particular, is a reminder to keep the faith, that love will come in good time, and to remember to live life, not be afraid of it. A definite must watch backed by all the right reasons.

ChennaiExpress‬ - The movie delivered what promised and that is sheer ENTERTAINMENT.

Since it was a Rohit Shetty movie, I entered the theater having a mindset of seeing those illogical stunts and gravity defying action, but I was really surprised to see a "toned" down Rohit Shetty in this movie. Yes there were few action scenes here and there, but it was not very "over the top" as was synonymous with a Shetty movie. For me, I will not tag it as a complete "no brainer mindless masala flick", as it surely isn't.

Coming to acting, SRK's comic timing was impeccable even when he was hamming through the scenes, it was done with a purpose, but finally it was Deepika Padukone who stole the hearts with her endearing performance. And did I mention it was funny, rather hilarious at times.

A complete Family Entertainer.

Those who don't feel laughing their hearts out won't hurt their intellect, will surely love this movie

I went to see BB on the day of release with my wife and 17 year old son. I'm not Indian or Pakistani, but white British, so it was fun sat in a cinema full of Pakistanis, to watch a film that could have painted Pakistani in a negative light.

Judging by the murmuring I could her there did seem to be some people during the interval that were not too impressed with the film - slow, boring, blah, blah - but by the end I think everyone left happy.

From a white British guys perspective I thought it was a terrific film, and so did my wife and son. Great story, interesting characters, a ridiculously cute kid who stole the show without saying very much, excellent music, and some scenery that took your breath away.

I thought Salman Kahn was great, much more three dimensional than I was expecting. Kareena Kapoor provided a massive dose of eye-candy and played her part well too, although it would have been nice for that part to have been developed more.

But for me the star of the show - other than Harshaali Malthotra, the little girl - was definitely Nawazuddin Siddiqui. He is one of the most mesmerising actors I've ever seen. He could read the label of a sauce bottle and have everyone transfixed.

In typical Bollywood style the first half was your typical setting-the-scene, which I thought was done very well, and it kept me interested throughout, but after the interval, as soon as Nawazuddin Siddiqui made his appearance, the film took off and didn't let-up until the end.

A movie which has emotion, drama, love, fight. Screenplay was good. may be there was some mistakes but that can be overlooked.. Music was good. "Sapna Jahan" & "brothers anthem" both are simply awesome but there was no need of that item song by Kareena Kapoor. AKshay Kumar is giving his best year probably. Uff what a superb actor he is & he was doing bad film like Entertainment, joker etc & was killing his acting skills. Hope he will do only sensible films from now on. Sid was looking like a beast who has no emotion, only knows how to fight, fight & fight & thats what his character demanded. Jackie Sroff, Asutosh Rana & Jacquline was also good at their small roles. Direction was good enough for the film. specially those fight sequences were really good. Overall worth a watch.

Bangistan free download hindi movie

Two blundering terrorists with lofty ideologies, but ordinary talent, on a mission to change the world.

Director:Karan Anshuman

Writers:Puneet Krishna, Sumit Purohit, 1 more credit »

Stars:Jacqueline Fernandez, Riteish Deshmukh, Zachary Coffin | See full cast and crew

Storyline

Bangistan is a whip smart and very funny satire on fundamentalism and the story of two not likely terrorists, the antitheses of each other, with a common negative target. alarmed by the unrest in the name of religion, Subcontinental leaders of Muslims and Hindus, the Imam and the Shankaracharya, announce that they're attending the International Peace Conference in Krakow in a joint effort to help unite the two religions in perpetual harmony. Rival rabble-rousing ragtag organizations, the Islamist Al-Kaam Tamam and right-wing political party Maa Ka Dal separately recruit and brainwash Hafeez and Praveen to suicide bomb the conference so that they may continue to wield their local influence. After a rigorous, and hilarious, 'training' period the two men switch their religious identities to stay under the radar. Hafeez, the jihadi, masquerades as a old-fashioned Hindu, Ishwarchand; while Praveen, the Hindu soldier, dons the garb of a practicing Muslim, Allahrakha. Focused on the mission,... in black and white by Dhruvi Dokania

By the promos, one expects a hilarious laugh riot which sounded amazing, extremely novel and different. But what the film offers is a big let-down. The film runs with a snail's pace. The director is unclear whether he wants to deliver his message through humour and satire or moralizing lecturing.

Initially Bangistan promises a bang and showers hints of satire in almost every scene, dialogue and frame; but runs out of impressive ideas and additions soon after the successful take-off. In this supposedly comedy film, there are just handful of moments that bring a smile on your face and most of the time, you just stare in horror at the pointless stuff happening in front of you. The film's music somehow is a relief.

Riteish Deshmukh was the eye among the blind. Though he was confused most of the times. Pulkit Samrat was the epitome of over-acting. Jacqueline Fernandez's role was a mere blink & miss in 3-4 scenes & 1 song. She was not required at all & was used as a prop. Aarya Babbar was funny in 1 or 2 scenes. The performances of rest were unsound.

The problem with ‪‎Bangistan‬ is that it tries to be too many things at the same time. The film's promos promise a comedy however, the jokes soon start falling flat one after the other. Then the director suddenly decides to make a preachy film with a social message on religious harmony. It's ultimate undoing lies in its desperate lunge towards delivering a message in the climax (which was the saving grace).
